We got off the ball today for the first time in a month. The deadline for our Coast Guard Vessel Safety Check was looming so we headed over to the dock and circled around for too long while we waited our turn with all the other procrastinators. (We tried to get the inspection the
last time we went sailing, but were unable to recognize our new registration card which was disguised as an insurance card.) We passed the inspection without a hitch so we're good to go for another year. Between this and finishing my taxes, I'm feeling like this has been a rather productive weekend!
